Installation of NaloxBoxes in Public Buildings

With money from an Opiod Settlement Fund Mini-Grant, BSFC will install NaloxBoxes in public locations throughout Bourne. Similar to an automated external defibrillator (AED) used to help people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest, a NaloxBox is mounted on a wall in a public place to provide life-saving aid in the event of an opioid overdose. This initiative aims to reduce the number of fatal overdoses in the community by providing immediate access to naloxone, thereby saving lives and promoting public health.
